The special deliciousness of this dish again, was the Pimento! Nice touch. It was nicely done with a reasonable portion rather than the 'Pound of pasta on every plate' you see at some places. The flounder Piccata was served on nicely cooked Penne, for my wife and Angle Hair pasta for me. My wife opted for a small Cesar salad but said the dressing was not as good as Family Pizza's, in Colchester, our normal Sunday destination. My dressing was Basalmic Vinegarette which was tasty. It had crisp moist greens and plenty of cherry tomatoes, one black and one green olive, cucumber, red onion and PIMENTO! A very nice touch. I had the house salad which was very nice. We said it would but, in the end they DID have flounder. they had any flounder and asked if cod would be ok. I am found of Veal Piccata and Chicken Piccata but, had never had it with fish. My wife and I both chose the Flounder Piccata! One of our party had two slices of pizza and was very happy. Restaurants near Valentino's Restaurant.
